As far as I can see the airport in Toraja TRT is not operative. I haven’t been able to find any flights going there. Nearest airport is Lagaligo

Thanks for the honest take! It’s refreshing to read a perspective that goes beyond the Instagram hype. I’ve been considering a trip there, but overcrowding and rushed tours definitely take away from the natural beauty. It’s a shame such a stunning place has become so commercialized. Might look into Lower Antelope or other lesser-known slot canyons instead.

In reply to Zayne. I would arrange everything in advance with Adi or Claudine. Claudine speaks English natively, so she can help with that. And then during the trip with Adi, if you need anything else, you can use the Google Translate app to talk to him. I like to download the Indonesian language so it works even if I'm offline.
